FAQs

Q: How much does MHE cost?

A: MHE has an annual membership of $15.00 that offers access to:  our secured MHE member communications that provides current co-op info, field trips, family events, encouragement, connection with all membered families. General membership in MHE is required in order to participate in Monday classes.

Q: May I leave the premises while my child is at classes?

A: Co-op classes are NOT set up as a 'drop-off' activity.  In order for classes to function effectively and safely for everyone, it is required that a parent/guardian is on site for each family and teaching and/or helping in the area(s) assigned to them.

If, for some reason, you need to leave the premises you must appoint a substitute parent who is willing to take care of any issues that may arise with your child/ren.  This must be communicated to the Board President.

Q: How will I know where I'm helping with co-op?

A: Parents within our communication app are typically given an opportunity to request which area they'd like to help. After that request timeframe, it is assigned and communicated at parent orientation before each semester begins.

Q: What if I don't want to come to MHE Monday classes.  Can I still be a member of MHE?

A: Absolutely!  We have members that join MHE to have a connection to a homeschool support group, but don't attend Monday classes!  We look forward to seeing you at the family events and field trips!
